Creative Solution Designs is run by Efrain Ruiz and Kelly Trotman. Together, they bring business thinking, digital development, careful listening, and practical problem-solving to work that rarely fits neatly into one box.

Efrain Ruiz

Co-Founder, Digital Strategist & Builder

Efrain approaches digital work through the business problem behind it. His background in sales shapes how he thinks about people, decisions, and what makes an idea useful—not just impressive.

He works across strategy, web development, digital systems, automation, and business-model thinking, connecting the pieces so the result works as a whole. He is most at home learning the problem, testing what is possible, and turning an unclear starting point into something practical.

Kelly Trotman

Co-Founder, Communication & Experience Strategist

Kelly brings a communication-first perspective shaped by years as a professional ASL interpreter: listen closely, understand intent, and make sure people feel understood.

She applies that strength to interpretation, conversation design, content, experience planning, and technology. Kelly helps translate between what a business is trying to accomplish and what the people using a system actually need from it.

Our story

Curiosity became building. Building became CSD.

Efrain began exploring AI and development to understand what the technology could actually do. The experiments became a daily practice, and that practice expanded into web development, automation, digital systems, and tools that had to work outside a demo.

Creative Solution Designs grew from a simple shift: instead of starting with the technology, start with a useful problem. Texas Hog Dispatch followed from that same instinct. An idea sparked by learning about the feral hog problem in Texas became a much broader exercise in research, business design, brand, web properties, information architecture, interactive tools, and connected infrastructure.

Kelly joined as a natural partner in the work and in life. Her ability to interpret what people mean—not just what they say—made the studio stronger. Together, they are building CSD around careful listening, continued learning, and the willingness to let a solution evolve as the problem becomes clearer.
